ACURA LAUNCHES NEW RLX SEDAN
Drivers in the market for a full size luxury sedan have never had more capable options. Every single automaker in this space has stepped up their game. Germany can offer the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series, England counters with the Jaguar XF, and Japan can offer the Lexus GS and Infiniti M. Acura wants you to know they are still around and would like for you to consider the technology-packed RLX.
Made almost complete of aluminum, it weighs in at 275 pounds lighter than its predecessor. It’s powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with such features as direct injection and cylinder deactivation to produce 310 horsepower and 272 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and Acura’s fancy new Precision All-Wheel Steer system.
