MONTREAL, CANADA Transformed by a $20 million renovation by designer Alexandra Champalimaud, this 31-story tower rising above swish Sherbrooke Street sparkles. Champalimaud opened the lobby up, creating a vestibule and fireplace just off the bustling street. Crystal chandeliers and gold wall treatments complement light marble floors, and gold pillows make a statement atop brown and green velvet couches and chairs that wink at the property’s 1970s heritage. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light and connect the lobby to the cosmopolitan scene outside.
