The Crown
London, UK The Crown is a cozy retreat within easy reach of central London. The 38 guestrooms are split between the main inn and the courtyard, but they all have a homey Scando-chic look: pale gray walls, Welsh wool throws, rocking chairs, sheepskin rugs, chunky oak furniture and bright red Roberts radios. The rooms in the main inn are smaller, but they have plenty of Old World charm, from wonky floors and beam ceilings to views of Old Amersham’s high street. All courtyard rooms have freestanding tubs and hipster toiletries from Aesop.
