The Drunken Pig
Chicago, IL Rehabbed park picnic tables, black retro stools and an LED-lit bar make it clear that The Drunken Pig has arrived in West Rogers Park in style. And along with the sleek decor, you’ll find a welcoming staff that gives this gastro pub a neighborhood feel. A small-plates menu, designed for sharing is packed with elevated bar food with a Korean bent (pork belly topped with kimchee purée, a chicken skewer glazed in a spicy Korean sauce). Per the name, you’ll also find plenty of pork on deck: Dates wrapped in thick slabs of bacon, seared scallops with bacon crisps and more. A bourbon-heavy cocktail menu accompanies a selection of more than 30 microbrews, many of them local.
